Came through these books while surfing Orkut. Looks like there are some books (Harry Potter And Deathly Hallows) floating around written by people. I tried one of them and believe me it's worth reading. Good timepass.

OOTP Release

Harry Potter & Order of the Phoenix is all set to release next month on 13th July. Just one month, still soooo difficult to wait. I am sure you too will be having the same feeling.

Aamir Khan as Harry Potter

Guyz,

Looks like we found the most critical character in our Mr. Perfectionist - Aamir Khan.

Before giving it a NO because of his age ... just try to imagine Aamir once wearing typical Harry Potter spects and you'll realize that yes ... there is some similarity to a good extent and anyway our dear Aamir is well known to get into his character extremely well. An extra bit of visual effects & graphics can help him looking looking like a teenager.

So the two are locked now ... but still if you can come up with some better options then feel free to post/comment here.

Book 7

Just a quick update for those who don't already know the release date of Book 7 (Harry Potter & Deathly Hallows) ... The book will be released on 21st July in US, UK and most of the English speaking countries.

We'll think of other characters after coming up with a perfect casting of major roles.

Big B As Albus Dumbledore

Finally ... one of the most important cast has been finalized.

And no wonder our Big B ( Amitabh Bacchan ) will be a perfect match for Dumbledore. Obviously a lot of make up need to be in place and a big white beard ... I guess he'll carry the character quite well. Wot you guyz think?

Still our main trio cast is pending - Harry, Ron & Hermione. Half of my night goes thinking about that but still no success. Anyway I am planning to come up with a pic which will give you an idea how Big B will look like as Dumbledore :-)

Just a funny thought came to my mind .... how about casting Saif Ali Khan as Ron because he always do justice to all stupid characters BUT the biggest problem is his age. I wish he was a kid and as stupid as he is now :-)

Anyway keep thinking guys and let's come up with a perfect cast for Indian Harry Potter movies.

"The Chosen One" in India

I was desperately waiting for the seventh and last Happy Potter book like you all. Believe me if there was anything in my mind day or night .. it was just Harry Potter and what would happen to him in the last JKR novel. Will harry die or survive? Is he the last horcrux and he has to fact death eventually? What will happen to Ron and Hermoine? Can the dark load be defeated? And the list goes on ..

That's when this idea came to my mind. Had Harry Potter took birth in India or I should say if JKR was an Indian then what would have happened to the fate of "The Chosen One"?

In short, if we convert the novel in Indian context then how our Harry will look like speaking in Hindi or any other Indian language? How Hogwarts will look like? How Dumbledore will look like? Just thinking about this make me crazy like hell.

And if a remake of Harry Potter series is made in India then who will play which role. Lets start with the main characters.

Harry Potter = ?
Hermoine = ?
Ronald = ?
Dumbeldore = ?
Voldemort = ?

I find it quite difficult to decide who will play what but yes I guess our dear Big B will perfectly suit for Dumbledore's role.
